How We Rank Listings

This page explains what decides the order in which listings and packages appear on Surf Camps Portugal.

1. Nobody pays for a better position

Partners pay us nothing, and no Partner can pay for a higher position. Our booking fee is the same percentage for every booking, so it does not influence the order either.

2. Browsing packages (homepage and “Browse packages”)

1. Featured first. Our team highlights some packages to show a range of places, prices and kinds of trip. Featured packages appear before the others, in the order our team sets.
2. The Partner’s own order. Each Partner chooses which of its packages comes first.
3. A fixed tie-breaker, so the order does not change from one visit to the next.

We do not sort this view by price, so that one cheap option does not hide every other kind of trip.

3. “Find my match” results

Only places that match what you asked for are shown — destination, activity, level and, when you give one, budget. Featured listings come first, then the most recently added. Within a result, packages that fit your budget are shown from the lowest price.

4. Destination pages

Featured listings come first, followed by the other listings in that destination.

5. What we do not use

We do not personalise the order to you, and we do not use reviews or ratings to rank listings. If any of this changes, we will update this page.
